Applications: Tetraethoxysilane (CAS NO. 78-10-4) named TEOS Si28 abroad is mainly used in the manufacture of chemical-resistant and heat-resistant coatings, organosilicon solvents and adhesives for precision casting. When completely hydrolyzed, it will generate tiny silicon oxide powder which can be used in making fluorescent powder. When applied to natural stones or other construction materials, this product forms a silica-gel like binder (SiO₂) which increases the substrate strength. Tetraethoxysilane can be used in the polymerization of silicone resins for paints and other surface modification applications. It is also the intermediate for sol-gel process. Further more, this product can improve the performance of other resins. It is the material used for making silicon macromolecular compounds.

Packaging and Storage:

Tetraethoxysilane can be packed in 200KG drum, IBC tank or ISO tank.
The container is sealed and stored in cool and well ventilated place away from fire and water.
